MISSION STATEMENT

The Houghton-Keweenaw County Genealogical Society(HKCGS) is a 501C3 non-profit organization. The HKCGS is organized to support and improve the ancestral research pursuits of its members, to assist non-members with family research in the local area, and to encourage a broader understanding and appreciation of genealogical research.
